What is Saphnelo?

Saphnelo (anifrolumab-fnia) is a prescription medication used to treat adults with moderate to severe systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE or lupus) who are receiving other lupus medicines.

How does Saphnelo Work?

Saphnelo is a type 1 interferon (IFN-1) receptor antagonist indicated for the treatment of adult patients with moderate to severe systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), who are receiving standard therapy. It is administered as an IV infusion in a doctor's office every 4 weeks.
